Default giving bounadries at coupled region

I have two fuilds, one is of fine mesh and other is a coarse mesh. I have created copules between them and found 'no errors' in couple checking. The flow is happening between these fluids.

Now, i need to give baffle bounadry condition at the region where couple are created. If i did so, it is giving an error( error #97"The boundaries not found in the exterior of the model" in the pop up menu).

And i found " **ERROR - NO CELL FOUND FOR BOUNDARY 3494 IN REGION 6" this message in the output window for the cells in that baffle region.

please help me out in this

I think one cant create baffles in coupliings. One clarification is reqd. Hope you are not creating baffles on whole coupled region. If yes, you are doing something wrong since this may lead to two different computational regions. If partial, do not couple the region where you want to put baffles. It will solve your problem. Since the faces remain disconnected there and fluid will not pass through (like baffles).

Dear carno,

First of all thank you very much for responding.....

If only flow is required to happen partially, i will agree with u.it will serve our problem.

but if I want to give any other boundary condition like Head load( and monitor the temp distribution) on the coupled region, How it will work.

i will explain u the problem in brief. there is already modeled component( i mean TET+ prismatice layered mesh) and i am importing the model into bigger volume and generated TET elements. So obviously, there are cracks in the assembled model. So I have created couples. Now i want to give various bounadry conditions (like i want to model the inner part (imported part) as fan or any other electronic device which emit heat..etc) to my model.

In such a situation , i think we need to have a fully connected mesh.Am i right? How can i specify any other conditions there...?
