Where can i find more information about MARS differecing scheme, other than the user manuals?
Formulation, analysis, method, ... of MARS scheme. |

I have been looking a long time for the documentation related to the MARS scheme, without sucess. If someone has it at hand, I would be happy to retrieve it.

I may be way off base here, but as I understand it, MARS is proprietary, belongs to CD-adapco, and thus you won't find the information you're looking for as it's company confidential.

Thanks for the reply. I though it may be so. Anyway, I'll still use the scheme and compare it to the other options. From what I have read elsewhere, MARS seems to be a good method and has been used extensively by other users in the world.

Yes, it's (in my experience) almost as stable as UD and gives higher order accuracy. Fantastic for capturing shock waves....
