Hello,

I am doing a moving mesh problem and when I load my *.pstt file, it gives me an error called MAXSC2 and asks me to increase the memory. when i try to increase the value more than what is minimum required, it says that it cant allocate that much value.

why is this error and how can I get rid of this error??

Thanks

Arnab

I recently heard there was a bug regarding moving mesh runs and MAXSC2. Better contact your support channels for help.

It is also possible that you may be able to allocate a bigger maxsc2 up front by running prosize before you start prostar. Your chances of allocating large memory chunks are much better if you do it before you start up than after you are already in prostar.

Thanks Brain and Steve,

I was able to fix the problem because of ur advices. It was a memory problem and when I increased the memory after making some additional space in hard drive, I was able to get rid of this error.

Thanks and keep helping Star-CD Community. I too will try!!
