Hi,
I would like to calculate local shear rates in prostar postprocessing. I think I need to calculate the derivations dudx, dudy,... but i don't know how to do this. Up to now, I put SU and XCOR in Post register data. I think it is now possible to obtain dudx but i don't know the command. I am also interested if you know a better and simple way to obtain shear rate. Thanks for your help Stephane |

if you have cell values of u scalar stored in the 4th register then the commands are CAVERAGE,ALL "to obtain vertex values" oper, gradient,no, "to compute gradient"
the results are cell values of dudx (1st col), dudy (2nd col), dudz (3rd col) you can check the results in the output window good luck |
