centrifugal pump (NPSH)

Hi all,

In pump industry there are two different tests for pumps. 1. Performance test, 2. NPSH test. I have succeded in simulating performance test. But I am not able to simulate NPSH test. Basic difference between these two test methods is in performance test delivery valve is closed for reducing flow rate and in NPSH test suction valve is closed. Cavitation tendancy of the pump is opposite in these two tests.

Please guide how to simulate second test (NPSH test).

Sir, I want to see the working of Centrifugal Pump used for the product of M.S.(Petrol), SKO....in flash playee or any other player so that i cam visualise what is happening actually inside the pump.

Please send me reply as i am a mechanical engineer and very much eager to have knowledge of it

Please help me about information to NPSH from centrifugal pump
