GLM option

Can anyone help me with GLM option on my computer. My computer XP with GeForce4 MX Graphics card. The driver has been updated few minutes ago from NVIDIA.com. I am trying to set graphics driver to OpenGL. I got the message as follows:
Using the default visual:<24 bit TrueColor> Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0". The OpenGL version can not run on this display, disabling extended mode Cannot find appropriate OpenGL visual How can I fix the problem? Thanks in advance. |

hi,
got to starlauncher, and go to options and swith on OPENGL. if that option button is not swithced on you may have to got windows 2000 sankar |

It would be helpful if you tell us, which operating system you are using. On Suse linux you first have to run the driver installation , the next step is to start sax2 and after that you have to type "switch2nvidia" before you run startx.

Thank you very much, both of you. I am using Dell pc, p-4 with XP window, Star-cd 3.15. As mentioned before, Geforce4 MX graphic card. I did go to starlauncher and ticked OpenGL. As my last post, those message comes out. Geforce4 MX was supposed to support OpenGL. I have no clue on what the mechanism lies behind.
