surface roughness

Hi,
I want to know how to model rough surface walls in STARCD. does it depend on turbulence model? please describe in details thanks sankar |

You should take a look at the methodology manual (especially on the section on boundary conditions and wall modelling). There you should find enough information for modelling wall roughness. If you do not like it and prefer to play with the E constant of the wall functions, you will find hints on how to model it in the book "Boundary layer theory" by Schlichting/Gersten.
