Hello,
I have a situation where I obtained from the client the average solid material properties as functions of the gradient of the ambient temperature in 2 directions (say, different polynomials in x and y directions). They were obtained via precised analyses of solid parts of the object (which are rectangular 'boxes'placed on a circle) just imposing the different temperatures on the outer walls. Now I am supposed to perform a more general calculation putting every solid part into an air volume and study the convection heat transfer. HOw do I impose this in StarCD? Those material prop. are dependent on the gradient (say from 0.1 K to 10) so to create a proper subroutine (because I guess there is no 'button' ;-) ) should I parametrise each of such boxes and calculate the gradients between the outer walls of each material over each time step??? Thanks in advance for your guidance or exmples |
