Arnab,
It's correct that you have to read in depth your user guide and methodology of STAR-CD. You can browse and find out all of our questions completely. Or maybe you don't anything about the concept and basic equations of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). |

Dear Arnab,
Sorry so much for your unconvenience. I just want to explain to you how to learn about the Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) concept which STAR-CD use to develop the software. I am the researcher at one of the institutions in Australia and not a member of cd-adapco group. Once again, please apologise for my fault. I only want to show how to learn and start to study the CFD concept. So please read and learn the User Guide and Methodology of STAR-CD which are given to you when you bought this software and product. Finally, please apologise for my last sentence and hopefully you can understand this case. Thanks for your attention and good luck for your best. |

Hi Wendy,
I too am sorry to misunderstand your mail. It is good that we communicated through email and cleared the confusion. I look forward to reading the methodology and user guide in detail to understand CFD in general and star-CD in specific. I hope we can both help each other out in due course of time in our research projects. Btw, what area of CFD are you working on? Right now , I am working on moving mesh problem.. Thanks a lot for your understanding to clarify this confusion. Basically, I also read and learned about CFD from the User Guide and Methodology of STAR-CD and also the other interesting CFD books that you can find in the bookstore widely. I also appreciate your effort to learn from beginning about CFD and STAR-CD especially. Wish all the best for you. About communicating through email, I do not mind about that. You can contact me directly to my email address as shown in this user forum. I also do not mind if we can share our knowledge to handle and capable of utilising STAR-CD. About CFD research project, I am currently working in the engine research team and also working on moving mesh problem in the internal combustion engine, which involves the mesh movement of valves and piston.
