PLease tell me in starcd how to calculate power absorbed by centrifugal pump? I am not able to do it by any means.

HI, You just calculate the forces acting on the impeller.
First get the cset of impeller walls in cylindrical co sys located at centre of pump. get the radial distsnce of the cells in same co-sys. MUltiply force and radius. Sum all moments like this to get total torque. Rest u know.... |
