Plotting ribbons with mapped velocity magnitude

Hi, I have created some streamlines (particle tracks) and I want to map the velocity magnitude to the streamlines (in the shape of ribbons). I did it once but I am not able to repeat it. I would appreciate any hints on how to do this. What graphical format is the best if you want to print the picture in a paper? Regards, Ulf

I usually clear the tracks, Plot a countour filled on the screen based on a cell set and then plot my tracks again. If you come back to a simple GEOMETRY PLOT and replot you should have your track coloured with the post-processing value you previously chose.
It works rather well... Let me know. Cheers |
