Default mesh movement (GDI)

I am working with pentroof type shaped piston with bowl for a GDI engine. In the CGRD file I am using VGEN comand to move the bottom most layer which is attached to the bowl once the cellayer immediately above is deactivated. It moves correctly. But the problem is the vertices are not modified and hence it creates a boundary between the bowl-piston and other layers. I tried VMOD command but it is not working...

Please help me .
