solar radiation problem -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

Cha Guest Posts: n/a	Hello, I'm now beginning to study a green house effect using STAR-CD. But I have a problem to set a solar radiation effect in my model. I putted BC on the outside surface of window(glass). The transmissivity of it is 0.92. Heat flux from SUN is 800W/m2 and initial temp. of others is 20C. In this setting, Nothing was changed in the simulation... Would you please let me know general settings method of solar radiation or any important detail? Thanks in advance
