Hi, all.

I am begining in CFD. There are the module IC3M in ICEM and the tutorial "Diesel". I run ICEM. It completed work and write 'all OK', but when I implement all recomendation and try run STAR-CD - very many mistakes in geometry. I don't say about boundary and other. Only geometry.

What anybody think about it? Who had confronting this problem?

Personnaly I may get problems when merging meshes into Icem and load it in Star. This is partly solves in 4.3.3. that has been patched. But I recently had problem with merged meshes (tets + hexa) that I did not couple at the interfaces between the sub-meshes.

I am interested in other's experience, since I think that Icem is powerful but that problem is really painful.
