segmentation fault

While trying to run a problem in star solver, I am getting an error message like 'segmentation fault'. Can any body advice me to resolve this difficulty. Thanks in advance

It could be anything - kernel limits, shell limits, a bug in your user subroutines (if you have them), a bug in STAR itself, a bug in the compiler. Contact your STAR support office with this problem.

star throws those segmentation faults up fairly regulally, you just have to watch and find out what you or it is doing at the time it comes up and then try and change it.

Thanks for your help. The same problem is running without any trouble when I make all the cell types with 'no radiation'. Could you now guess what could be the problem in my model.

Problems with radiation are especially in transient calculations hard to solve. Ask your support, they will solve your problem...
