I am using ver. 3.15A with XVision on Win2000 OS. I can not make gif files (they are empty) from star.plot file though I see images on the screen when plot-gif.exe is running. Thanks in advance.

Just a workaround if you have a Linux/Unix machine available.

Make sure that you have "netpbm" and "latex2html" installed. Within these packages you have the program "pstoimg" which is able to convert postscript images to gif or png.

The good thing about this way is that you get a very good quality of the images (even transparent background) and you can specify to which size they are scaled before converting.

Thank you very much for reply. It is a very useful information. I also know this feature works well in ver.3.10B on Win2000 platform. But I have the task to convert images to gif files in ver.3.15A with XVision on Win2000 OS (configuration recommended by CD-ADAPCO for Win2000 users).
