Finite Heated Region?

Hi, Consider a channel, at 0<x<a and x>b, the wall maintains a temperature To. At a<x<b, the wall temperature suddenly increases to T1. We would like to monitor the temperature at the downstream (x>b), does anyone know how to use starcd to model this ? Thanks in Advance. We really appreciate !

Hi, Consider a channel, from 0 to L1 and L2 to L3, the wall maintains a temperature To. Between L1 and L2,the wall temperature suddenly increases to T1. does anyone know how to use starcd to model this (L1 less than L2 less than L3)? Thanks in Advance. We really appreciate !

You create three separate wall boundary regions and specify the temperature on each. Simple.
