Permeable baffles

Hey !
Dealing with a flow in a filter kind of domain, I use permeable baffles to completely separate two regions. There should be a certain pressure drop across the baffles, which I know from experimental data. If I calculate with very low values of Ares and Bres (pressure drop not sensible), I get good solutions. Increasing the values of Ares and Bres, I get more and more of Warning #038, which is UNNORMALIZED RESIDUAL CANNOT BE REDUCED TO 1.0000000E-6 IN EQN: PCOR. I guess thats the pressure correction equation. Strange is, that in a special range of Ares and Bres, the warnings appear not every iterations, so that some of them will be used to update the field. My questions are: - What is exactly happening, or not happening in the iterations with that warning. - Is there a chance to modify that value of delta = 1.0E-6 for some iterations. - Do you see a different way of solving that problem Thanks in advance, Marc |
