Dear All,
Is there anyone who has the experience in simulating erosion problem by using STAR_CD? I have done all the jobs, including calculating the two-phase flow and use the subroutines for erosion model as well as rebound model to calculated the erosion. But when I finished all of the procedures, all the data of erosion rate, erosion ratio, impact velocity and impact angle are zeros. Can anyone tell me what happened? Ko |

In the 15th issue of Star-CD newsletter there was a small article on errosion modelling. It was done by Wood Group Pressure Control Ltd, you can try to contact them.

Sometimes, this indicates that you have some problems with the particule trajectory calculation. Do you check that all particules exit the fluid domain.
