Hi! all
I want to use table in inlet boundary. So I make a table. independent variables are x,y,z and dependent variables are u,v,w. (coordinate system is 2) when I make the problem file(*.prob), the messages pop up the windows. The error messages are Error -variable X of table "DATA" REferenced by region 1 is not a valid independent variable. problem write stopped. Error -variable Y of table "DATA" REferenced by region 1 is not a valid independent variable. problem write stopped. what is problem? |

That's unusual that its failed, is your boundary planer? If it is say on a z plane, then you don't need to set the z coordinate, it knows where it is. Can you graph your dependant variables?

For coordinate system 2 (cylindrical) the names of your independent variables should be R and THETA instead of X and Y. It's a bug in PROSTAR - when creating tables it doesn't account for coordinate systems, but when reading them back - it does.

Edit the file by hand and change the X and Y to R and THETA?
