Hello
I am a Master student in Portugal, and I am learning how to use Star-cd. I need to use the spacing factor tool to control the distance of the first grid node. But I can't find out how the spacing factor works,i.e., if I use 0.8 as spacing factor I don't understand how Star calculates the distance between the wall and and the first grid node. Please answer Best regards |

If you have a line with length L divided into N parts with spacing s then the distance between the wall and the first grid node will be L*(s-1)/(s^N-1) (well, may be you'll have to take 1/s instead of s...)
