Hi, I wonder what is the way of plotting walls and droplets at the same time ? I have no glm version available. The walls could be shaded to give them more 3-D look.

You can always perform a wall plot with the "interior" or "clipped hidden" plot type (you need surface shells to use this). Then you can either use pldisp,droplets,on with that plot, or you can use the overlay command and plot the shells and droplets separately.

A problem that I haven't been able to solve is that you cannot easily achieve a true "hidden effect" where at the same time, droplets that are behind a surface close to you are hidden and droplets that are in front of a more distant surface are visible. Either the droplets are plotted on top of the shells, or vice versa. Anybody know a solution to this?

How do I obtain the surface shells ?

You can for instance use live surf, or you can just make a cell & wall bnd plot (creates surface shells automatically). To visualise the surface shells, you just collect the shells in the cset and use wplot. This can also give nice images in the clipped hidden mode. Setting the plot type to interior allows you to plot directly the surfaces defined by the vset. Check the plty command in PROSTAR help for more help.

Excuse me,i wont to plot the heat wall flux (from pst file), how can find or recognise the shell that i must plot; my model have many different group of cell.

you can check the number NR of the interesting cell set in the cell table, then activate it via cset,newset,type,NR and then choose your data and plot it with cplot.

Another question: I want to save the cell wall data that are displayed but when I save it, in a file, there are the values of all cells. How can I get it? Bye
