I am meshing a manifold with prostar. I want to put on a sublayer after regular hex blocks mesh is completed. Can anyone tell me how to do it. Thanks Guang

Hi Joern, Thank you for advice. I fully understood the procedure (cgen a lager with dt=0 and then vcex reverse inward to keep surface shape while creating a layer with specific layer). However the version 3.15 does not support vcex with -value, which is a regression of prostar as far as I concern. Could you give any suggestion around. Thank you again Guang Ai

I've tested it with 3.15 and it worked.
other way: use proam to generate a sublayer first (shrink the original surface). the algorithm there is much more robust than the vcex command. my way would be to use gridpro. |

Thank you Joern. I will try it in proam. It seems something wrong here in SGI/Unix setting if it is not the fault of version3.15.
