is it still your radial fan ? tutorial 7.3 might help. but is MIXASI really useful in your case ? i posted some hints to your previous question.

It's ALWAYS my radial fan, because I tried with lower values of rpm, but the convergence (expecially for mass) is poor...I must wait convergence for all runs? You don't think transient approach will give better results? Thank you,Lorenzo

No as I said you don't need a converged solution for all rpms, but a stable one. when using standard relaxations about 20-50 iterations per rpm should do.

I use transient runs only if i am looking for transient effects. when investigating the blade design it seems to be more useful model the blade with cyclic boundaries and a dense mesh. when looking at the whole impeller you will have to use coarser grids.

For transient runs i don't use MIXASI because of the restrictions to the mesh at the interface. instead I use arbitrary sliding interfaces with an initial solution from steady explicit mrf (don't use this for steady-only runs).

so I always start with steady runs.

What restrictions on the mesh at the interface?
