STAR-CD will work fine with any card that runs under XFree86 -which is just about any card Xconfigurator can detect. I have used the stock 'nv' driver (that comes with Red Hat 7.2) and the 'nvidia' driver in the src.rpm from Nvidia to run ProSTAR with a GeForce2MX without any problems.
GUIDE seems to have some window sizing glitches and missing buttons at certain sections but can be brought back by resizing the GUIDE window and then shifting display from another tab. The main ProSTAR window is OK, though. I use the standard 2.4.18 kernel. |
