I am thinking about using STAR CD for simulations of two-phase steam-water flows. Do You have experience on the multiphase models implemented in STAR CD. Do the user-defined functions allow the implementation of my own models? Can you compare STAR-CD to CFX or Phoenics? Thanks for Your help

It is possible to calculate the Euler-Lagrangian two phase flow field in the StarCD. For the dispersed phase,StarCD provides an evaporation model as the default one. If you want to calculate condensation in the steam water flows, you need to define yourself's condensation model in the user subroutines.
