Is there a possibility to apply an existing model set up (boudaries, scalars, chem. reactions, etc.) on a new (more dense) mesh?

Yes: just use CREF command to refine the mesh and boundaries will be automatically refined and other setup will be kept.

Yes, but then I have problems merging vertices. The problem is that I work with 6-degrees sector and merging just deletes the central cells.

I think you probably need to adjust the tolerance of the merging so that it is less than the minimum vertex distance.

The problem is not to adjust it too much. What is the limit value?
