Hello, I would to know what is the really memory request during analysis? I'm trying an analysis (k-e) of a model with 218000 defined cells (40000 trimmed) on WinNT . Memory request is 200MB, is it ok or not?
Thank you Giovanni |

Generally, for a pure hex mesh, you can figure about 40Mb/100k cells. 40000 trimmed cells out of 218000 total cells seems like a high number (generally the number of trimmed is less that 10%),but it will raise the memory limit some. I would have expected maybe 120Mb so 200mb seems a bit high for your model. Its is certainly within the right order of magnitude.
