negative volume

Dear people
I have meshed one quarter of rectangular duct canal with vertices than in form of block, but in the cell check I become the error negative geometry. How I can rectify this error thanks |

If you use the fix left handed button on the check tool this should fix your negative volumes.

yes,
first do a check for negative volume: cset,all check,cset,,right then the negative cells with but put in a p-register (it should be register 4, range -1 to 0), to get those cells into your current cset use command: cset,news,prang,4,-1,0 then you want to flip the cells to right handed: cflip,cset,,,right that should do it. later, dave |

Dave, Its even easier - You can do check,cset,,right,newset which directly puts the failed cells into the cset in one step. It also might be better to do check,cset,,negvol,newset because, after all, you are looking for the cells with negative volume. Steve
