Baffle and shell conduction

Hello all,
Here I'giving one typical problem what had faced during defining the boundary conditions using STAR-CD. Are the BAFFLE & SHELL CELLS permit the heat conduction, if its in between two diff. streams? Is so what extend it will permits. Narsimloo |

As stated on page 7-30 of the user's guide, STAR will calculate the 1-D heat transfer across the baffle. However, it will not compute the thermal conduction along the plane of a baffle's surface, as stated on page 15-2. You would have to extrude these to cells.
