STAR-CD with superheated steam

I am wondering if anyone has used STAR-CD with superheated steam where the ideal gas assumption is no longer valid. This includes modeling the properties of steam via user subroutines (i.e. ASME steam tables, etc...) in addition to the fact that the standard wall functions and k-e turbulence model may not be valid for this working fluid (rumor but I have no justification either way yet)

Dear Jason,
I heard the Computational Dynamics Ltd. already made the subroutine program using ASME steam table. So, my suggestion is please ask to CD which made the STAR-CD solver. Regards, turboguy |
