I have a simulation in which I would like to look at a few specific cylindrical areas of a region (perform volume reports on them, etc.). Is there anyway, short of creating a separate region for each of these cylinder areas that I can use to get this done.
I would like to avoid the separate regions as these sub-areas are all located within an Overset mesh and I have not found a way to successfully divide up the overset region, especially since the sub-areas of interest are totally contained within the Overset region. |

What happens when you have you moving overset regions? What you can try is to make these boundaries in your geometry and then assign them as internal interface. I don't know if it works with overset mesh or not.
