Hi friends,

I have my simulation in star ccm 6.04 version. can i open it in any older version of star ccm....if possible , then how?

Hi Pritam,
You can't open the CCM+6.04 version file in any old version software.No option for this.The lower end version doesn't support higher end version file.So u have to go for latest CCM+ to open ur file....

No chance. An ASCII export would be nice, but doesn't exist.
The best you can do is the following:
* export your mesh as CCM format (which can also be read by PROSTAR) or some other format
* create an HTML report of your settings

Open a new simulation in the older STARCCM, import the previously saved mesh and start manually copying all the settings based on your HTML report.

Altogether not much fun ...
