Clementhuon is on a distinguished road
Hi everyone,

I'm doing some transient simulation on a brake system. To simulate the brake disc, I created a new region with a specific motion (here a rotation). The simulation looks to run fine, I can see with a .case file that my wheel and my brake disc are mooving as expected.

But by looking clother I found a problem in the velocity profile on the disc. This one should have a velocity distribution with a revolution symetry (he turns around a rotation axis) but this is not the case (see the picture below).

For information, I'm running the simultion in unsteady (after steady initialization) in coupled, with a time step of 5e-5 s, the rotation velocity is 1200 rpm.

Does anyone got an idea ??

Thanks

Clement
