Dear REEF3D Team,
I am writing to seek your guidance on a research project that I am currently undertaking. I am replicating the numerical experiments presented in your 2018 paper, "Three-Dimensional Numerical Modelling of Wave-Induced Scour Around Piles in a Side-by-Side Arrangement." I have been comparing my results for wave propagation in both full-sized and reduced-length Numerical Wave Tanks (NWTs) with those presented in your paper, and I am encountering significant discrepancies. I am unsure of the reasons for these differences and would appreciate your insights. I am using REEF3D 24.08 and Divemesh 24.05 for my simulations. The first two images attached are from your paper, while the last two are from my simulations. I have attached my input files for your reference. Could you please review them and provide any suggestions for improvement? Thank you for your time and consideration. |
