Hi,

I'm testing the HDC algorithm in REEF3D going from the FNPF module to the CFD module. In order to validate my method I'm trying to replicate the numerical experiment form the article: Hydrodynamic Coupling of Viscous and Non-Viscous Numerical Wave Solutions Withing the Open-Source Hydrodynamics Framework REEF3D by Wang et al. I have seen other posts where this has been done, but I seem to be getting a different error.

The FNPF code works just fine, so does the cfd DiveMESH. The problem comes when using the cfd ctrl file, it runs just fine, but does not generate any waves. I have attached my files.

I would greatly appreciate any help in locating the problem

Hey, I just tried running your case and with the newest release candidate. The CFD results show waves, they are just very small.

Thank you for replying! I can see that it generates some waves, but I would imagine that with this method the waves from the FNPF would be approximately equal to the waves from the cfd module. This is however not the case, have I made a mistake in the input files which may cause this problem? Or did the waves seem fine when you ran the simulation?
