Hi REEF3D Team,
I have recently attempted to import a complex STL file into REEF3D-CFD, but I've encountered a strange issue where the floating STL model rotates unstably at the beginning of the simulation. This is not entirely what I expected. If I have misunderstood something about the floating module, could you please provide me with some advice? Thank you all. Best regards, Yu-Jan Wang |

Hi Yu-Jan Wang,
I have not had a chance to run you simulation, but what I could imagine being a problem is the missing moment of inertia. REEF3D assumes a cube when calculating the moment of inertia. |
