Hello, I am Vamsi Krishna. I am currently studying for my Master of Technology and I am doing a project on breaking wave interactions with coastal structures.

I would like to request your assistance with two issues:

1. How do I create breaking waves in the flume?
2. What is the code to create breaking waves?

I would be most grateful for your help with this. Thank you in advance for your consideration.

Hi Vamsi,

the code does not directly create breaking waves, you need to create a situation where this naturally occurs. Please have a look at our tutorial cases in the REEF3D User Guide (e.g. 10.11) for finding a good setup for such situations.

Thank you for your reply sir.

I am currently placing a breakwater in the middle of the flume. I would like to know how I can create the situation for creating breaking waves. I would also like to know if this breakwater will be able to create breaking waves. Please let me know how I should proceed.
