Hi, I'm completely new to Reef3d, but I dare to ask this question since I tried some time now

I specify a wave height and a period, and the wave elevation I get is far too small (specify H=0.08 and get amplitude ca 0.011). But very nice and smooth. Have tried several grids, since I guess the issue lies there, but no luck.

You have a 10 m long NWT in control.tct

You have a relaxation zone of 4 m from the start for wave generation.
You have a relaxation zone of 8 m from the end for wave absorption.

Therefore you have no working zone in your wave tank and no waves.

Increase x max to say 40, then you have about 28 m of working zone (40-4-8= 28), between x= 4 and x= 32.

You also try to use grid stretching in z, but without stretching. I would recommend that you start off with regular grids (take away B 2, B 101/2/3) and work with B 1 0.05/0.025/0.01 to start with.
Then you will get a feel for the grid res and NWT quality. Acc. Bihs et al (2016) 80 cells per wavelength in x-direction is sufficient.
