wave gauge data error

hello, im new to REEF3D. Where i can get the wave gauge data? after running stokes waves in flat bed(tutorial input)..i opened the result in paraview.. but i didnt get wave gauge result "ERROR: In vtkTecplotReader.cxx, line 2177 vtkTecplotReader (000001DB015DB430): D:\2SWFB\REEF3D_SFLOW_WSF\REEF3D-SFLOW-WSF-HG-THEORY.dat: The record type NUMBER found in the file is unknown." what it means? how to get wave gauge data? please help me......................... error showing ERROR: In vtkTecplotReader.cxx, line 2177 vtkTecplotReader (000001DBF34A9080): D:\2SWFB1\REEF3D_SFLOW_WSF\REEF3D-SFLOW-WSF-HG-THEORY.dat: The record type NUMBER found in the file is unknown. Only vtp and vtu files can be read directly by Paraview. Wave gage data is unformatted ASCII, so you can read it with the xy-plot software of your choice (e.g. Python).

Yes, multiple wave gages are possible.

You can use Matlab or Python, you could also go with a spreadsheet software.
