Hello everyone,
When I do the tandem pile scouring simulation as shown in the picture. The scouring speed is too fast, and the scouring depth is clearly not normal conditions.
In just a few seconds, it reached 1 time the pile diameter and continued to increase to 4-5 times the pile diameter.I am trying to find out what is causing this phenomenon,I checked the flow velocity at a distance of 0.1m from the water inlet,But its speed is obviously not enough to cause such a large scour.
I doubt if there is a problem with my grid settings or the sediment settings,I stretch the grid towards the bed and around the cylindrical piles.MPI errors at the beginning,It took several modifications before the calculation was successful, so I suspect there may be an error in the grid setup, but I'm not sure where it happened.
Attached is my ctrl and control files.I hope someone can point out my mistake

Thank you for your reply,
I tried changing the turbulence model to T 2 without changing other settings.
But after my comparison, I found that the simulation results have not changed significantly, and its scour rate is still abnormal.
Can you give me any other suggestions so that I can determine where the problem lies?
