Hello REEF 3D Team,

In S 93, what should be Delta angle for landslide correction, default value is 0.0. as many of papers mention correction = -2.0

So which one is correct, S 93 2.0 or S 93 -2.0 ?

And what is S 81 and S 82 parameters.

Use the positive number for S 92, that will work.

S 81: angle of repose phi
S 82: delta phi, will reduce phi for uphill flow and increase it for downhill flow

Thank you, sir, for your reply

Now I am confused between parameters S 25 and S 81. if both are the same parameters which are the angle of repose, then in the reef 3d manual, it has different default values
S 25 30
S 81 35

the angle of repose in my condition is 30 degrees, so do I need to put S 25 30?
and if I am choosing correction = 2 degree
Then do I need to put S 93 2, S 81 32(30+2) and S 82 2?

Hi Ajay,

not sure you mean S 25, as it does not exist.

Ok, thank you, sir, for clearing my doubt. as I am using REEF 3D version 22.04. In the REEF 3D manual, there is an S 25 parameter which is for the angle of repose.

Please use 23.01. In general: always go with the newest version.

In 23.01, S 25 is removed and sediment transport modeling is improved. For bed shear stress have a look at S 16 4.
