Yes, it calculates the absolute velocity at the bed.

Sir, could you once explain for what this parameter stands for in D 30
off PJM PJM FSM PJM CORR Which one is the SIMPLE method, and which one is the projection method as per Chorin(1968) if suppose I want to opt for D 30 1, then do i need to opt for D 20 1. Thank you sir |

Hi Ajay,
none of them is the SIMPLE method as all of our time discretization methods are explicit (or at least semi-explicit). You should go with D 30 1 and D 20 2. D 20 2 will treat diffusion implicitly, so it avoids the time step penalty. |

Just go with the default of 0.3. It is the safety factor for the Courant number of the bed level changes (i..e the bed should not move more than 0.3*dx per time step).
