Hi!I'm sorry to bother you.I am currently studying wave interactions with coastal structures using REEF3D.How do you pair wave and current together?

Use the Dirchlet boundary condition to generate the waves (B 98 3) and add a current using discharge using W 10.
This will allow you to include currents in a NWT

Hi,
You can start with the configurations below: B 98 3 (Dirichlet inflow) B 99 0 (it works as outflow) And you can define the discharge by using W 10 in ctrl.txt You need to define boundary conditions in control.txt file as C 11 6 (wave generation) on the inlet and C 14 2 (outflow) on the outlet. Then it should be ok. |
