Hello again,
I was just wondering how the suspended Sediment transport works. From my perspective, one enables suspended sediment transport by S 12. However, if I have a look in the source code, I cannot find any use of S 12 or S 23 (or is it the bedconc.cpp?). Also, can one use the concentration parameters (C options) for the suspended sediment transport? Or are the C options meant for a passive scalar (or active scalar when using the C1 -C 4 options) transport? Are the C options necessary in regard to the suspended sediment transport, as S60 and C10 are obviously both time schemes for the concentration of a quantity. Or is just a deposition rate, which bases on van Rijn assumed, that leads to a global accumulation in the total domain. Thanks for the help in advance. I'm interested in suspended sediment transport for scour simulations. I noticed you were also navigating a similar issue. Have you made any progress in resolving this query? |

Hello,
so suspended sediment is not working yet. The C-Options can be used together with the suspended algorithm. However, as the interface interaction of suspended sediment and topography is not yet working correctly, I feel like we have to wait for an update regarding suspended load. Cheers |
