Hi,
I was wondering if it is possible to have regions of different mesh resolutions that solve different governing equations. For example, I would like to model a large 10km x 10km area using shallow water equations, but a particular region 1km x 1km with nonhydrostatic equations. Is it possible to setup as a single simulation or do I need to setup multiple simulations with output from one simulation as an input to the region of interest in a second simulation? Many thanks, Ananth. |

Hi Ananth,
right now FNPF to CFD coupling is supported through the hydrodynamic coupling framework (HDC). We are working on extending this to SFLOW to CFD very soon. |
