Hi,
I'm very glad to see the new forum of REEF3D that our users can get helpful reply, then more and more researchers will know and be fond of REEF3D. My question is that suspended-load function in sediment transport seems not take effect. I do some verification about sediment scour in 2D and 3D, just to find that S 12 is not useful, while the true control function is S 60. However when I use S 60, for example, S 60 1, it will get a shallow scour depth, when I use S 60 2 or 3, the sediment can't load. S 60 11 and 12 will have a error before the code running. So I'm confused how to use the suspended-load function.Thank you very much. I also tried to run the model with the S 60 0, only to find that the terrain is formed only by bed-load with a big dune behind the pipe or pile. It has a big difference to the results of other literature. If I made any mistake please point out, thank you very much. zhang |

Hi Zhang,
it looks like I need to have a look at the suspended load transport, I will be back with more info after the Easter break. Cheers Hans |
