Hi All,
I am trying to create my CFD mesh using Pointwise. I want to see how a deflector change the flow in a tube (please see attached picture). The problem is that Pointwise create the mesh for the tube and the deflector but when I try to export both mesh, the software does not export the mesh of the surface deflector. Specifically, it seems not possible to create a block that considers the deflector. Do you have any suggestion to create the mesh for this model Many thanks |

Hello Salvatore:
I can assure you that Pointwise can generate a mesh such as the one you describe. However, the specifics of the issue you raise can't be diagnosed without knowing what type of grid you've generated (structured hex, tet, hybrid) and how you're exporting it. My suggestion is that you contact our technical support engineers at support@pointwise.com. Best Regards
