Does any one know whether in Pointwise it is possible to link connectors or not? For instance if it is possible to link connectors, it is not required to specify the grid settings on each of these connectors separately and one can just link all these connectors and specify the grid settings on one of the connectors within this linked group. This option is available in GAMBIT but I am not sure about the availability of this in Pointwise.

That capability is not explicitly in Pointwise. However, you can get close to the same effect by selecting multiple connectors when applying grid distribution or dimensioning commands. If you enter Grid, Distribute or Grid, Dimension with multiple connectors selected, any changes you make will be applied to all the selected connectors. If you want to make it even easier to select many connectors, you can put them all in the same layer and then isolate that layer. It's not exactly what you were asking for, but I think it comes close. Rick |

I forgot to mention there is one way to link multiple connectors, and that is through periodic linking. Once connectors are periodically linked, any changes made to one of the connectors will be automatically applied to its periodic twin. That only works for the special case of periodic connectors, but thought I would point it out for completeness. Rick |
