Hello,
I was wondering what is the preferred method to obtain a geometrical database in Pointwise ? The program was intended to create the geometry internally or by loading a previously created geometry with a separate CAD software ? I ask this because after a quick look in the tutorials almost all of them start with an already made geometry. If the program was intended to be used for generating the geometry and meshing the calculation domain, why there is so little information about creating a geometry from scratch in the documentation. For example I wasn't able to find how can I load a set of points from a file and create a curve from them. Any suggestion will be appreciated. Thanks, Do |
